Method – Transformation Beats Compliance

Most professionals are willing to adapt to outside pressure in order to develop and advance. Usually, the actual outcome is that they bend or stretch themselves in order to fit the ticket, at the expense of authentic development or other life priorities.

Usually, behavioral change then lasts as long as the energy level and motivation is high, or an outside authority, in the shape of a coach or manager, is monitoring the process. It declines, or is overridden, when crises occur or the emotional pressure rises too high.

A more effective objective is to create authentic and sustainable transformation that becomes a permanent and irrevocable feature of future development. Authority is then integrated and compliance due to outer pressure is no longer necessary.
